A Thankful Heart

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name."
Psalm 100:4

We have so many things to be thankful for this year and are thanking God for the many blessings He's bestowed upon our family in 2010. For us it's not just a holiday about parades, stuffing and turkeys. It's about slowing down and taking time to spend with family and to take inventory of all of the blessings given to us by God. This past Thanksgiving was especially exciting because we were looking forward to the arrival of our baby boy - what a blessing indeed! We had a great time with family and enjoyed our time together. We are so grateful for the people in our lives and we are also grateful to God for them.

I only remembered to take pictures with Kevin's side of the family, so here are memories from our Robertson Thanksgiving celebration at Aunt Laura Jo's...

Cousins!

After lunch we went to a Christmas Tree farm to help Laura Jo pick out a tree for her and Gary. Little did we know it was a "cut your own Christmas tree down" farm! Ha! After much work, the tree finally came down and we hauled it on the back of the truck off to the Hatley's.

Whit loves the tire swing at Aunt Laura Jo's house. She lives on a farm so there's always so much fun to be had during our visits there. I can't wait until Whit is old enough to go spend a week with her in the summers like Morgan and J.T. do.
