The first week of October, the 3 of us snuck away for a short weekend at the beach! We stayed at my mom's place at Ocean Creek and had fun feeding the eels bites of bread (the ducks had apparently migrated already)...

It was warm enough for us to even get on our bathingsuits and play in the sand and surf!
Saturday night we went to our favorite restaurant in Little River, Crab Catchers, and ate fresh seafood out on the dock. It's amazing how making your child run back and forth is so fun to them and it wears them slap out after dinner!
The 3 of us haven't had a vacation together (alone) this summer, so it was nice to get away and enjoy the last few days of warm weather!
